Clear Alignment

The Modern Way to a Straighter Smile

At Good Company Dental, clear aligners offer a comfortable and discreet way to straighten your teeth without the brackets and wires of traditional braces. Using a series of custom made aligners, your teeth are gradually guided into better alignment while allowing you to smile confidently throughout treatment.

Whether you’re a teen or an adult, clear aligners can be a convenient option for improving the appearance and balance of your smile.

Clear Aligners vs. Traditional Braces

Oral Hygiene

Aligners allow normal brushing and flossing. Braces make cleaning more difficult and time;consuming.

Comfort

Aligners are smooth plastic with no sharp edges. Braces can cause irritation to lips and cheeks.

Removability

Aligners come out for eating, drinking, and cleaning. Braces are fixed — 24/7.

Appearance

Clear aligners are virtually invisible. Traditional braces use visible metal brackets and wires.

What Can Clear Aligners Treat?

How Clear Aligners Work

Consultation & Digital Scan

We take a precise 3D digital scan of your teeth; no messy impressions needed. This scan is used to create a virtual model of your current smile and map out the full movement plan.

01

Custom Aligner Fabrication

Your aligners are custom;made to fit your smile and treatment goals, with each set gently moving your teeth little by little into better alignment.

02

Wearing Your Aligners

You wear each set of aligners for approximately 1–2 weeks, 20–22 hours per day. You remove them to eat, drink (anything other than water), and brush your teeth.

03

Progress Check-Ins

We schedule regular check;in appointments every 6–8 weeks to monitor your progress and provide your next sets of aligners.

04

Retention

Once treatment is complete, we provide custom retainers to maintain your results. Wearing your retainer as directed is essential to keep your smile in its new position.

Frequently Asked Questions

Treatment time typically ranges from 6 to 24 months depending on the complexity of your case. Many mild cases can be completed in as little as 6–12 months.

You may experience mild pressure or discomfort for the first day or two after switching to a new aligner. This is normal and a sign the aligners are working. It typically subsides quickly.

You should remove your aligners before eating anything and before drinking anything other than water. This prevents staining and damage to the aligners.

Rinse your aligners with lukewarm water every time you remove them. Clean them with a soft toothbrush and mild soap or a specialized aligner cleaner, never hot water.

Some orthodontic insurance benefits apply to clear aligner treatment. We'll check your coverage and discuss all costs before starting treatment.
